The pool
A private heated pool of 8 × 4 metres, 1.5 m deep — usable from May to October. On the south side of the house, with 4 sun loungers, 4 beach chairs, a large bean bag and 2 parasols.
The terrace doors of the living room and two bedrooms open directly onto the pool — handy for a quick afternoon dip.

For 8 guests, really
Many holiday homes claim to sleep 8, but let one or two of them sleep on a sofa bed. With us, each of the 8 guests has a real bed in a real bedroom.
Four bedrooms, each with a king-size bed (180×200), air conditioning, walk-in wardrobe and storage drawers. The front two bedrooms open onto the terrace and pool through sliding doors; the back two face the side garden.

Where is it?
In Guizengaerd, a quiet village in the Charente, on the border with the Dordogne. One hour from Bordeaux, 50 km from Cognac, 15 km from Aubeterre-sur-Dronne (one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France).
Bordeaux-Mérignac airport is the nearest international gateway. From Belgium or the Netherlands: 9-10 hours by car via the A10.
Rates
Weekly rates: low season €1,190.00, mid season €1,395.00, high season €1,995.00. Final cleaning €125 mandatory. Security deposit €500 (refunded after stay). Electricity included, no pets.
